A fee for a named period, not a seat on a plan
Most commissions have a starting figure. The office wall chart is quoted after we measure the wall. A deposit of forty percent reserves the visit date. The remainder is due when the charts are handed over at the mill.

Loom-shift chart
One weaving hall and fourteen shifts. Longer runs, or a hall past about forty looms, are priced again before the visit is booked.

Dye-lot ledger
Up to twelve batches, cards read in the dye house under the lamp you use. Extra batches are quoted first.

One cutting room and one calendar month of slips, including a visit while the pile is still in the room.

Office wall chart
Sheet size, length of the period, copper-corner mounting, and travel if the mill is outside Bangkok all move the figure. We measure before we quote.

What changes the figure
Travel beyond Bangkok, a book that needs a second visit because the clerk was off shift, and paper already cut for a wall that turns out to be damp are the usual additions. We name them before drawing continues. Pencil drafts that the supervisor rejects for accuracy are redrawn inside the original fee. A request to add a second hall is a new commission.
