Refunds
When a deposit comes back, and when the ink is already paid for
These rules apply to chart commissions — loom-shift charts, dye-lot ledgers, seconds charts, and office wall charts — arranged with Cognit Weave Analytics Co., Ltd. Write refund requests to hello@cognitweave.click or call (02-915-8832).
Deposit
Forty percent of the agreed fee reserves the visit date. It is a deposit on that commission, not a fee for a membership.
Full refund
You receive the deposit back in full if you cancel at least seven days before the scheduled mill visit and we have not yet started drawing or bought paper and mounting hardware for a wall chart. If we cancel the visit, the deposit is refunded in full.
Partial refund
If you cancel after drawing has started, or inside the seven days, the deposit is kept to cover the visit planning and any pencil work already done. Any balance you have not yet paid is not charged. If you have paid the balance early and the charts are unfinished, we refund the portion that covers work not yet started, and we keep the portion that matches visits already made and sheets already drawn.
Work already started, materials, no-shows
Charts already inked are handed over and paid for; the fee for those sheets is not refunded. Paper, ink, and copper corners already purchased for a wall chart are not refunded once they have been cut or ordered for your wall. If we arrive and the mill is closed, or the books and cards we named are not available, that visit is treated as made: the visit portion of the fee is kept, and we will reschedule once without a second visit charge. A second failed arrival is billed as a further visit before we book it. If our draughtsman misses the window through our own fault, we reschedule at no charge.
Rescheduling
You may move the visit date once, without a fee, if you ask at least three days ahead and the new date falls within six weeks. Later changes are agreed in writing and may wait for the next open week on the studio calendar.
Method and timing
Approved refunds are sent to the same bank account or card that paid the deposit. Processing takes up to fourteen business days after we confirm the amount in writing. We will tell you if the bank needs a name that matches the original payer.
Exceptions
If a wall is too damp to mount and we decline the mount, as described in that commission, you pay for the measuring visit and any sheet already drawn at your request, and you do not pay a mounting fee. Gaps left in a chart because the book had blank lines are part of the delivered work and are not a defect.
